Markham Fest, School Days, and a Murder Mystery

This last weekend saw the Fifth Annual Markham Fest, a three day family festival held at Roesner Park.  You can visit the Video page for an interview with Mayor Webb about the festival and hear some music from Sunday.

In other news, you might notice that we actually were covered for the Prairie program story by another newspaper - I applaud them for putting us out there in a positive light.

As Fall approaches, the first day of school comes even earlier - take note of the school schedules on the index page of the Markham Journal.

As you may notice on the community calendar, the SGM Players will present their show, The Chicago Caper, Sunday August 27th at 3pm. Dinner is included in the ticket price, and a good time will be had by all.

If you have news stories that need to be put up on the Journal, please go to the contact us page and send it in, and also let me know if you wish to be on a mailing list to be notified of updates to the site.

Thank you!
